Molten Vole

I wish you were lonely
And I wish you hurt
I wish you'd given me a chance
And you were lying with me face down in the dirt

Ornately carved tombstones
Into the swamp will sink
Clouds clapping overhead
As the heavens
Pour another drink

Nothing drains
Drowned remains

Here in my waterlogged grave
Torrents fill the tomb
I flooded my resting place
